MISSYSUE, December 2006

Hi Wendy:

Kathy and I would like to thank you for helping MissySue with her peaceful and happy transition from being rescued in Taiwan to our home in California.

As you know MissySue was rescued in August after waiting on the docks for her owner to come home. Her owner was a fisherman and died out at sea. MissySue waited for days on the docks until one night a drunk threw a fishing net over her and stabbed her multiple times in the back. A guard found her and took the net off, but she ran away and hid. After about a week of starving she ended up in front of a store. The owner of the store, a wonderful woman, called Maggie and Joseph the owners of Rescue Team Taiwan (savedogs.org) who came and took MissySue to the vet. MissySue had 3 surgeries. Maggie and Joseph visited her everyday and we were in communication with them on a weekly basis. However, I felt that we needed to start communicating with MissySue so she would know that she was coming to a home in the USA and everything would be OK. That's when I found you, and asked if you could talk to her to bring her comfort and let her know who we are so when she arrived she would already know we are her new parents.

Your communication with her and what she told you about her is right on the mark. She is everything you told us she would be based on your communication with her. Because of your communication with her, from the very first night we picked her up from the airport she has acted like she was raised with us. She fit right in with the rest of our animals and our way of life. She has brought a lot of joy to our lives and from your follow-up communication with MissySue, and the love she shows, I know she is grateful for her new life.

So thank you for being a part of MissySue's happy ending.

Sincerely, Bert & Kathy

CHANGO, THE RED LORY BIRD, AND BIG FOOT CAT

From Pauline Oliveros, Kingston, NY, after a reading with her beloved red lory bird, Chango, who had crossed over:
"Dear Wendy, How beautiful! Thank you so much for this lovely reading; it feels so very right. I smiled a lot as I read. I do delight in the memories of that intense time with Chango. This [reading and details given] is true! Thank you so much. This reading made me feel very good.”

And, Pauline and her partner, after her 2nd reading for her living kitty named Big Foot:
"What a wonderful reading! We will be sure to check out Big Foot’s achiness. Maybe we can get him a special bed. We have seen the two [outdoor] cats you mentioned – a black and gray one. (After confirming many accurate details) Thanks Dear Wendy! Your reading was right on.”

Pauline’s partner Ione writes:
"Dearest Wendy – How wonderful – yes, I had thought that Big Foot was feeling achy…. Cause he’s favoring sun and radiators ….. and yes, he sits in my office window now watching the new bird feeder I’ve put there… such fascinating Bird activities! … This is so lovely, thank you. Yes, I know the outside kitties of whom you speak. .. So grateful for you.”

BIRDO, THE MESSENGER

Anne, New York, NY writes:
"Dear Wendy,
This is so beautiful, Wendy. I am bowled over by beauty of Birdo (via YOU).
Thank you so much. Need to read and re read and sit/dream with this awhile.
Your transmission helped me to understand and celebrate a sudden, magical arrival and departure, an out of the blue blessing of a tiny, fantastic bird; head back, ever-expectant mouth wide open, who conveyed, and through you continues to express sweetness, liberation, powerful medicine. My sense of loss is transformed into a focus on what was and is beautiful and wild in this encounter. Many thanks, Wendy !
love,
Anne"

JUNIPER, THE RETICENT CAT

Michelle Nagai, Brooklyn, NY, guardian of kitty Juniper, after receiving both a reading and a Distance Reiki healing for her cat, writes:
"Wendy, Juniper seems so full of love these days, and very content. She has come back to sleeping on the bed, near my head, or at my feet, with the other cat at my husband's feet. She was definitely not doing this a month ago [before the reading]...The other day I came into the house and she looked up at me with such incredible love, I really felt welcome. She was sitting on a chair pointed in the direction of the table where we keep a picture of Henry (our dog [who had passed and also came through in the reading]) and his ashes, and often have flowers and light incense there. She was just gazing up at me, and really connecting with that Henry space and I felt his presence SO intensely. It felt like Juniper was channeling that and was really enjoying the safety and love of the space in that moment. I wasn't perceiving these kinds of connections from her before the reading.

I have also been meaning for a while to get her checked out by the vet, and recently discovered a really terrific vet. I often wonder if she has some tummy issues, given her complaint about being touched on the tummy sometimes and other hard to pinpoint clues... I know I shouldn't delay about getting it checked out, and your reading has reminded me and encouraged me. I LOVE the idea that she is aware of things, can sense auras in certain papers and is attracted to them and chews them. That also sheds new light on things.

The reading was really good! I also sort of liked getting it in e-mail, rather than being on the phone with you as you did it, which is how a previous animal communicator worked with my dog and I.

I say keep it up and thank you!”

BUDDY, RESCUED MALTESE

Gail Duboe, Oakland, CA, whose Maltese, Buddy, was temporarily apart from her at a shelter (because of landlord issues), terminally ill and unhappy, brought him home to pass lovingly by her side, after a reading telling her he wanted to come home to her.
Gail writes:
"Right on! This was such a big help… I am getting Buddy back…. I want to get him as soon as I can. Thank you, Wendy, for your great readings and your thoughts.” [Buddy was brought home and passed peacefully by Gail’s side, within a few weeks after he was reunited with G.]

CHISPA, departed beloved dog friend

Laurie W, St Paul, MN, writes, after a reading with her departed dog:
"Thanks Wendy, I could feel your compassion and delight through this reading, and I know the souls you connect with will feel very comfortable with you!”

LADY DANU, LIL’ MONK, SHIVA LOUISE, KRISHNA, rescued family of doggies

DeJuana McCary and LaDonna, Birmingham, AL:
"Dear Wendy,
Last night I read your reading, and decided to read it to L while we began our evening together...it was so funny...I was just about to read about Lady Danu just wanting love...and all 48 pounds of her suddenly landed in LaDonna's lap all smiles...as I read about each dog...it was as if they knew...and gathered around to hear what was being said...our dogs are all doing well...Lil Monk and Lady seem to be testing each other for attention...which is normal when four dogs are involved...

We felt your reading was right on...you are doing a wonderful service...thank you so much for your assistance.

Sending you love and light,

D and L”

Beloved TROUBLE, deceased kitty of Bob and Cathy Guzman, Houston, TX

"Dear Wendy, Thank you so much. We've read and have to send you our thoughts. The kitty toy you mentioned was a favorite of hers - a round, soft ball with colors around the middle - blues and pinks usually with catnip inside (which she really loved and which we grew at home for her and our other "kids"). The ring you mentioned was most likely a "milk ring" off our gallons of milk. She would play with them and then hide them so she didn't have to share with the others. And her bed which you mentioned, where she slept most of the time, was a mid to light blue ... it was also very near the dining room window where she could get sun.
Trouble was very shy as you said, when we got her at 9 weeks - she hid in another room whenever we had guests and only came out when she knew the "coast was clear". She didn't start warming up to people until she was close to 6 or 7 yrs. Her favorite person in the whole world, besides Bob & I (I'm Bob's wife, Cathy) was my best friend Susan who passed 1 year and 1 month ago. Susan loved Trouble (and all animals) and Susan was also the only other person besides Bob & I who Trouble let pet her. Perhaps that was the Auntie person you mentioned in your reading. I personally would like to think that Susan is there with Trouble and our other cat, Princess, who passed in June of 2001 at the age of 20+.
We can't wait to speak with you tomorrow and we are happy to know that Trouble is a happy baby - finally healthy and free of pain.
Bob & Cathy”

ECHO AND FLOWERS, rescued lab rats

Kathy High, Troy, NY, rescuer of two lovely rats, Echo and Flowers, asked for a reading for her pets who were both showing signs of illness and stress. One of them, Flowers, was very ill, and passed away shortly after our reading, peacefully and by Kathy’s side. Kathy writes:
"Dear Wendy,

This is great to hear. I can't thank you enough! Flowers did spend a lot of time in my arms last night, as you said. What is interesting is that flowers started to drink again last night right around the time you were reading her - she drank a lot and kind came back to life. I had told them about you and they knew you were going to come. I am happy Flowers stuck it out to tell me those beautiful messages. She is sleeping completely soundly in my arms now. She is a sweet natured soul and always was that way. Echo is a stronger more assertive personality. I hope they have had a chance to express their true selves while with me.

And Echo's comments are great too! I just moved their cage to a new place about a day before your reading where they can see outside their room and they see me working. They have foods that have a huge variety in it and I also give them treats. So they get a lot of different food types already. But I know what echo means - she is adventurous and wants to try other things. I will give her more things. And she does get paper towels that they rip up for bedding. Interestingly, last night I had taken some of the paper towels out because Flowers had diarrhea and it was messy. So echo was really speaking in the present!

Echo has also been having seizures, as you perceived, since flowers has been sick. I think it is the stress of her being sick that is triggering them…so you read her not feeling well correctly. Also as you said, I know she is worried about Flowers too. She sleeps very close to her protecting her. Echo will stay with me after flowers passes.

The animals comment is also interesting. because one of my cats, Push, climbed on their table and sat in front of their cage last night peering into it. I didn't see him at first because my back was towards the cage. But he was right in front of it. It must have been scary for Echo!

And this morning I gave Echo a toy [as was mentioned in the reading] (the cardboard tube from the paper towels) and she immediately started checking it out and playing with it. More toys to come! She has always been a bit more adventurous than Flowers. Their comments make sense because Echo is kind of pragmatic and specific and Flowers is more ethereal and emotional. At this point they are a funny couple also because echo is completely bald and very pink. And Flowers who still has some white hair is also extremely pale and kind of creamy colored (hair and skin).

Flowers is kind of waking up just now. I think she wants me to thank you for talking with her and helping me hear her better.

Really thanks Wendy!

Love
from us all, Kathy."
